After a nearly two-month trial, a jury in Idaho has found Chad Daybell guilty of the murders of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and his two stepchildren, 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan.

The verdict brings to a close a high-profile case that has captivated the nation's attention. Prosecutors presented evidence that Chad Daybell engaged in a conspiracy with his second wife, Lori Vallow Daybell, to murder Tammy Daybell in order to collect on life insurance policies. Lori Vallow Daybell is currently in custody and awaiting trial.

Chad Daybell is scheduled to be sentenced on August 25.
